Yesterday, SMEC assisted with the live animal section of the VCS 451 surgery course. Dr. Chelsea Ruston and Kristin Skoland reviewed four circles evaluation, swine handling, and injection techniques. Students worked in groups for the hands-on portion of handling, bleeding and injection administration.
