The SMEC staff attended the 2018 American Association of Swine Veterinarians conference held in San Diego, California. Both Dr. Brown and Dr. Kittrell presented during the swine practice tips session. Dr. Brown’s presentation covered how to properly collect meningeal swabs. Dr. Kittrell’s presentation covered jugular vein catheterization. SMEC’s 2017 summer interns were also in attendance. Michael Rohde, Samantha Anthony, and Kacey Klemesrud, had posters on display.
